Football Recap: Wall Skates Past Jones County with Ease

Wall got themselves on the board against Jones County on Friday, but Jones County never followed suit. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-0 win over the Coyotes. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

It was another big night for Jace Mohr, who rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 161 receiving yards and a pair of scores. His longest reception was for an incredible 81 yards. Another player making a difference was Tanner Volmer, who threw for 213 yards and three TDs on only six passes.

Wall's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Chase Carlbomb was the leader with two sacks.

The victory keeps Wall at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 56.5 points this season. As for Jones County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wall will face off against Bennett County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jones County, they will square off against New Underwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
