Football Recap: Dunbar Tigers vs. Cypress Lake Panthers
Dunbar had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 28-20 victory over the Cypress Lake Panthers. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunbar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tylen Gore, who rushed for 138 yards and one TD while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. BRANDON SEABROOK was another key passer, throwing for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dunbar was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
