Softball Recap: Pike Central Takes a Loss

Pike Central and South Spencer squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pike Central had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Chargers have suffered against the Rebels since May 3, 2017.

Pike Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for South Spencer, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-19.

As of now, neither Pike Central nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
