Yuma is a perfect 3-0 against Liberty Common since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 1:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Yuma is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Monte Vista with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. The win was familiar territory for the Outlaws, who have now won three games in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty Common came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 57-37 margin over Buena Vista on Friday.

Yuma better keep an eye on Caiden Castillo. He was instrumental in Liberty Common's win, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 21 points. Castillo is becoming a predictor of Liberty Common's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 7-3 (and 6-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Pierce Richardson, who posted six points along with nine rebounds and five assists.

Liberty Common smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They are 11-3 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Liberty Common's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Yuma, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Yuma strolled past Liberty Common when the teams last played last Wednesday by a score of 70-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Yuma since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
