Football Game Preview: Riverbend Bears vs. Brooke Point Black Hawks + How To Watch

Riverbend is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They are taking a road trip to take on the Brooke Point Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Riverbend is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Riverbend is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Albemarle: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bears blew the Patriots out of the water with an 81-8 final score. Fans of the Bears have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Ian Shook went supernova, throwing for 148 yards and three TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Riverbend's leading receiver Camden Simmons was Shook's top target yet again, picking up 37 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one rushing score.

Meanwhile, Brooke Point slipped by Spotsylvania 20-19 on Friday. The Black Hawks haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Riverbend's record is now 4-0. As for Brooke Point, their record now sits at 3-1.

Riverbend was able to grind out a solid win over Brooke Point when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 49-40. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Black Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
