Baseball Game Preview: Lytle Pirates vs. Moody Bearcats

The Lytle Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Moody Bearcats at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Lytle came up short against Poth and fell 6-3.

Devin Cordova and Mason Hill did some serious damage despite the final result: Cordova went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, while Hill got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Cordova's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Moody didn't have quite enough to beat Live Oak Classical on Friday and fell 9-7.

Lytle now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Moody, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
