Brownsburg gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers by a score of 36-23. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won six games in a row dating back to last season.

A big part of Brownsburg's win came down to the chemistry between Oscar Frye and his top target Branden Sharpe. Frye threw for 252 yards and a pair of TDs on only 19 passes while Sharpe picked up 157 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Sharpe really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards. Shakovon Sumpterbey helped Frye out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards and one score.

Brownsburg has already played their next match, a 29-0 victory against Cathedral on the 29th. As for Archbishop Spalding, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-28 win against Archbishop Hoban on the 30th.
