Softball Recap: Hernando Victorious

Hernando won the last time they faced Hudson and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Leopards walked away with an 8-5 win over the Cobras.

Hernando let AUBREY KNIERIM and ARIANA 'ARI' COVELL run wild. KNIERIM went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while COVELL went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave COVELL a new career-high. KENDERLYN HART also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

The victory got Hernando back to even at 9-9. As for Hudson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Hernando nor Hudson have any future games scheduled.
