Preview: Southern vs. Friendly
Friendly will challenge Southern on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Friendly had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a serious blow against Westlake last Saturday, falling 0-38. Friendly were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-32.
Southern also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Glen Burnie.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
