Softball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo was the 13-12 winner over Edgewood when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison fell 8-4 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoe Cheek made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Edgewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Buffalo will square off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they will challenge Arp at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
