Basketball Recap: Darlington's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Darlington entered their tilt with Central on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They managed a 55-51 victory over the Central Eagles. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tazhir Webber, who posted 18 points and four steals. Webber is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Edmond, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 boards.

Darlington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Darlington and Lamar will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Lamar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season. As for Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ballantyne Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
