Soccer Game Preview: Franklinton vs. Knightdale + How To Watch

The Franklinton Red Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Knightdale Knights at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Franklinton has three straight wins, Knightdale has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Franklinton can't be too worried about heading out to take on Knightdale: they just beat Vance County at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. The Red Rams walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vipers on Monday. Three seems to be a good number for Franklinton as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Knightdale didn't have quite enough to beat East Wake on Monday and fell 2-1.

Knightdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Franklinton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Franklinton took their win against Knightdale when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
