Recap: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Mosley Dolphins

The Crestview Bulldogs's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-16 victory over Mosley at home. With Crestview ahead 29-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Madyson Boydstun had an outrageously good game as she scored 24 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Natalie Toney was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.

Several Dolphins players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Persia Mincer, who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sherilyn Sanchez, who scored three points along with three steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mosley struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Crestview pulled down 13 offensive rebounds.

Crestview pushed their record up to 12-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Mosley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Crestview will be playing at home against Fort Walton Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mosley, they will head out on the road to square off against Niceville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
