Basketball Recap: Catholic Central's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Catholic Central extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Sei'Mir Roberson. The Catholic Central Crusaders breezed by the Schalmont Sabres to the tune of 75-43 on Friday thanks in part to Roberson, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was his ninth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ky'Cier Dixon, who posted four points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Catholic Central's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Schalmont, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Catholic Central is taking a road trip to square off against Mohonasen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schalmont, they will host Bethlehem Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
