Baseball Recap: Jackson-Olin Comes Up Short

The Jackson-Olin Mustangs lost 17-2 to the Carver Montgomery Wolverines on Thursday.

Jaylen Washington made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Jackson-Olin has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Carver Montgomery, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Jackson-Olin will take on Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carver Montgomery, they will head out to face off against Enterprise at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
