Volleyball Game Preview: Washington Huskies vs. James Logan Colts

The Washington Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the James Logan Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Washington is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 27th on Tuesday. They came up short against Moreau Catholic, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Mariners: they've now lost nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, James Logan waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.

While James Logan might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mission San Jose scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-27, 25-19.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for James Logan, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

Washington beat James Logan 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
