Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Takes a Loss

El Paso-Gridley lost against LeRoy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans came up short against the Panthers, falling 19-2. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

El Paso-Gridley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tori Seggerman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

El Paso-Gridley's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for LeRoy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-2.

Looking ahead, El Paso-Gridley is taking a road trip to take on Heyworth at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.93 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for LeRoy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Normal Community at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
