After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alpaugh, the Laton Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 36-26 win over Legacy Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Laton also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Laton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaythan Garcia led the charge by scoring seven points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Cesar Meza, who scored five points along with nine steals.

Laton's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

Laton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-20 loss vs. Kings Christian on the 9th. Legacy Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
