Softball Recap: South Lewis Comes Up Short

South Lewis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 8-3 to the Thousand Islands Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on April 7th.

South Lewis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Thousand Islands, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

South Lewis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 loss against Lowville on the 1st. As for Thousand Islands, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Belleville Henderson Central on the 1st.
