Basketball Recap: Runge Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Austwell-Tivoli, Runge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Prairie Lea Indians with a 26-22 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-39 back in January.

Runge's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Prairie Lea, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-21.

Runge will take on Waelder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Runge is facing Waelder at the right time seeing as Waelder is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Prairie Lea, they will challenge Nordheim at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
