Volleyball Recap: East Triumphs

East won the last time they faced Southeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Aces walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Buffalo. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aces.

East easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.

Elliot Cyrus was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight matchups.

East's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Southeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Coincidentally, East and Southeast will both be playing Heights the next time they take the court. The Aces will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Buffalo will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
