St. Joseph Catholic skates past O'Connell with ease

Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Eagles vs. O'Connell Buccaneers
The St. Joseph Catholic Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 59-2 victory over O'Connell on the road. Considering St. Joseph Catholic has won four contests by more than 25 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
St. Joseph Catholic was led to victory by Leah Hurley and Ryan Millhollon. Hurley scored 13 points along with eight steals and five rebounds, while Millhollon scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Anna Eubanks, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
The win (which was St. Joseph Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. As for O'Connell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
St. Joseph Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet Providence Classical at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence Classical comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. O'Connell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on December 30th.
