Football Recap: Red Cloud Skates Past Diller-Odell with Ease

Red Cloud won the last time they faced Diller-Odell and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors breezed past the Griffin to the tune of 60-14. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Red Cloud didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jake Shipman and Mason Bolin. Shipman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Red Cloud has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 45.5 points thus far. As for Diller-Odell, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Red Cloud will challenge Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, Diller-Odell and Lewiston will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The game will give the Griffin their first taste of in-conference action this season.
