Basketball Game Preview: Hagerman Bobcats vs. Eunice Cardinals

Hagerman hasn't had much luck against Eunice recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hagerman Bobcats take on the Eunice Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hagerman beat Jal 54-48.

Meanwhile, Eunice earned a 47-39 victory over Loving on Tuesday.

Hagerman has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Eunice, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Things could have been worse for Hagerman, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-42 loss to Eunice in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Hagerman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
