Basketball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 78-41 defeat at the hands of the Northside Patriots. The game marked the Red Jackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Northside found their leader in freshman Xavier Davies, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Davies. The team also got some help courtesy of Cinque Hodge, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northside, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Jordan will take on Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northside, they will square off against Shaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
