Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

Patrick Henry lost against Virginia High last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels came up short against the Bearcats, falling 15-6. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kolby Hicks was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Virginia High, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will face off against Richlands at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Virginia High, they will square off against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bearcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
