Bradshaw Mountain entered their tilt with Flagstaff on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They skirted past the Eagles 5-3. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly two runs.

Caden Randall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Dylan Lockwood and Garison Jones did most of the damage at the plate: Lockwood scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Jones scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Jones has posted since back in April of 2024.

Bradshaw Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flagstaff only posted an OBP of .344.

Bradshaw Mountain pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Flagstaff, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Coming up, Bradshaw Mountain will head out to take on Coconino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flagstaff, they will host ALA - Queen Creek at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
