Soccer Recap: Sylmar Snags 12th Victory in Last 15 Games

Sylmar had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Bernstein Dragons get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Spartans were the better team in the second half.

Sylmar is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. Bernstein's loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Sylmar will take on Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sylmar's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Bernstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
