Bedford has gone a perfect 7-0 against Alvirne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Alvirne took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bedford, who comes in off a win.

While Bedford's victory against Bishop Guertin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 7-5. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Carter Crowley was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jack Hinton, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Alvirne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to Nashua South.

Alvirne saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Polleck, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

With the win, Bedford broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Alvirne, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Bedford's way against Alvirne in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Bedford made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
