Football Game Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. LaVille Lancers

Glenn hasn't had much luck against LaVille recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Glenn was just a hair shy of victory and fell 15-14 to Bremen. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 14-7 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, LaVille played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Knox 62-16. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Glenn will need to focus on slowing down Brayden Schwitz, one of several LaVille players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for LaVille, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Glenn came up short against LaVille in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 17-7. Thankfully for the Falcons, Cody Allen (who rushed for 93 yards and two scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
