Recap: Canton Central Catholic Crusaders vs. Cardinal Huskies

The Canton Central Catholic Crusaders fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Cardinal 26-10 on Friday.

Dan Boron continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Boron was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards.

Canton Central Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Cardinal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Canton Central Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Kirtland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kirtland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Canton Central Catholic likes a good challenge. Cardinal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
