Volleyball Recap: Holy Spirit Prep Comes Up Short

The Holy Spirit Prep Cougars came up short against the Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-19.

Modupe Brown paced Holy Spirit Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Brown got some help from Valentina Guerrero and her four assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Holy Spirit Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Holy Spirit Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pinecrest Academy on the 21st. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Centennial on the 21st.
