Volleyball Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. Boone Grove Wolves

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jimtown had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Boone Grove Wolves. The victory was nothing new for the Jimmies as they're now sitting on four straight.

One reason for the win was Jimtown's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-19, 25-14.

Kendal McPhee paced Jimtown's offense, picking up nine kills. McPhee got some help from Emma Young and her 30 assists. Flarity Harder controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Boone Grove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lauren Voudrie, who had 12 digs. Voudrie has been hot , having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Jimtown is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season. As for Boone Grove, they moved to 16-17 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
