Valley Mills and Carlisle squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Valley Mills had to settle for second. They lost to the Indians on the road by a 24-8 margin. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Blayne Griner threw for 138 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. Jacob Garcia was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards. On the ground, Jasean Johnson rushed for 87 yards.

Antonio Ibarra continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carlisle, rushing for 80 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 116 yards and one touchdown.

Valley Mills' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Carlisle, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
