Basketball Recap: Ola Falls Despite Big Games from Timothy Clark and Jalen Watkins + How To Watch

Ola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 53-29 to the Carrollton Trojans.

Jalen Watkins and Timothy Clark certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Watkins posted 11 points and five boards, while Clark had six points. Watkins also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Kamaree Mays was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points for Carrollton. Another player making a difference was Dre Steele, who put up seven points.

Ola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carrollton, their record now sits at 3-1.

Ola will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stockbridge at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. The Mustangs' defense better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 51.2 points per game this season. As for Carrollton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-36 defeat against East Forsyth on the 24th.
