Softball Recap: Sheehan Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Sheehan nor Shelton made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Titans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gaels, sneaking past 4-2. While the Titans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win was the fourth in a row for Sheehan, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Shelton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4-1.

Sheehan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Cheshire on the 15th. As for Shelton, they have also already played their next game, a 5-2 win against East Haven on the 15th.
