Triad is 9-1 against Granite City since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Triad Knights will square off against the Granite City Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Triad will head out to face Granite City after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Triad lost 54-31 to Civic Memorial.

Meanwhile, Granite City suffered their closest defeat since February 5, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Beardstown by a score of 31-29.

Granite City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Triad, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-6.

Triad strolled past Granite City when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 53-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Triad since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
