Baseball Game Preview: Alma Center Lincoln Hornets vs. Pepin/Alma

Alma Center Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Pepin/Alma recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hornets will welcome Pepin/Alma at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Pepin/Alma is headed out to face a Hornets squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Alma Center Lincoln took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Stetzer Sean was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Stetzer Drew, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while it was Pepin/Alma who put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, it was Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran who put up more. Pepin/Alma fell 7-4 to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran. The loss continues a trend for Pepin/Alma in their meetings with Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran: they've now lost three in a row.
