It was a good run, but Seymour unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to the St. Paul Catholic Falcons on the road by a 42-27 margin. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Seymour lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mia Cunningham, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 12 points and five rebounds. Isabella Melissano also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for St. Paul Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Seymour wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-59 win against Wolcott on the 28th. As for St. Paul Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-38 defeat against East Catholic on the 23rd.
