Basketball Recap: East Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

East Central's game on Tuesday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Vancleave Bulldogs by a score of 38-29. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-29 back in December of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for East Central, bringing their record for this year to 6-7. As for Vancleave, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Laurel at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Laurel will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something East Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vancleave, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Puckett at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
