Baseball Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short

Upperman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers. The Bees were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Upperman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Hedrick, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Upperman's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Warren County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Upperman is taking a road trip to challenge White House at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Stone Memorial on the 12th.
