Magnolia is 8-2 against Camden Fairview since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will square off against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. Camden Fairview took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Magnolia, who comes in off a win.

Magnolia barely beat Parkers Chapel the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Trojans on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cheyanne Evans made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Evans was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, Sophie Smith was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Kadence Ellis was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Magnolia hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Camden Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to Hamburg.

Camden Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Magnolia, their record is now 9-6.

Everything went Magnolia's way against Camden Fairview in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Magnolia made off with a 17-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
