Lafayette won the last time they faced Oakville and things went their way on Monday too. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

Lafayette was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Mason Brown paced Lafayette's offense, picking up ten kills. Brown were helped by Ethan Tran and Nate Kraemer, who contributed 15 assists each. Kraemer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Lafayette has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Oakville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakville, they will head out on the road to square off against Parkway South at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
