Basketball Game Preview: Marion H Hawks vs. HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians

The Marion H Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marion H's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so HEARTS for Jesus Christ's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, HEARTS for Jesus Christ was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 34-22 to Gilead Christian. The game marked the Guardians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Marion H will have to keep a close watch on Carenna Lewis and Ariana Jenkins, a pair of players who had a big impact on HEARTS for Jesus Christ's prior game. Lewis posted six points and 13 rebounds, while Jenkins scored six points. Lewis is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games she's played.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Marion H, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
