Basketball Game Preview: South Carroll Cavaliers vs. Winters Mill Falcons

South Carroll and Winters Mill are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but not for long. The South Carroll Cavaliers will welcome the Winters Mill Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

South Carroll is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Linganore on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. South Carroll was dealt a 76-40 defeat at the hands of Linganore. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Winters Mill ended up a good deal behind Liberty on Friday and lost 74-59. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Carroll's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Winters Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

South Carroll was able to grind out a solid win over Winters Mill in their previous meeting back in January, winning 59-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Winters Mill's Chase Siegel, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.
