Football Game Preview: Voorhees Vikings vs. Hillside Comets

The Voorhees Vikings will square off against the Hillside Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Voorhees will be strutting in after a victory while Hillside will be coming in after a loss.

Hillside will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Voorhees extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Vikings came out on top against Governor Livingston by a score of 21-14.

Matteo Tramutola had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Hillside after they claimed the first score on Saturday, but it was Carteret who ended up claiming the real prize. The Comets fell 21-13 to the Ramblers. While the Comets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ramblers 7-0 in the first quarter.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Voorhees, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
