Volleyball Recap: Irondale Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Irondale can now relate to. They came up short against the Spring Lake Park Panthers on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

While Irondale was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-22.

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Spring Lake Park, they pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Irondale nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
