Basketball Recap: Manistique Takes a Loss

Manistique lost against Iron Mountain back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Manistique Emeralds took a 59-44 bruising from the Iron Mountain Mountaineers. The Emeralds' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Manistique's record now sits at 2-10. As for Iron Mountain, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Manistique will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Ignace at 7:30 p.m. St. Ignace will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Manistique surely won't give up without a fight. Iron Mountain has already played their next matchup (against Westwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
