Volleyball Recap: Addison Gets the Win

While Addison's win against Meek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since August 28th.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-56) Addison actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Addison can attribute much of their success to Calie Garrison, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Garrison has posted over her last four matches.

Addison is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. As for Meek, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-19.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Winston County on the 11th. As for Meek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lynn on the 11th.
