Back at the plate, Payton Chacon was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Brannon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Richland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 16 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Kamiakin made easy work of Ferris on Tuesday and carried off a 14-0 win.
Like Richland, Kamiakin also got a great game from a two-way player: Lizzie O'Leary. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. O'Leary was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Grandeen went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Worster went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Analise Thomasson, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Kamiakin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Richland, their win bumped their record up to 21-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Richland hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Kamiakin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Richland took their victory against Kamiakin when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 13-1 score. Will the Bombers repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
